I am so excited to be starting my 34 th year of teaching Science! I retired in 2020 from public education after teaching high school in Germany, Colorado, and Virginia as a military spouse and in Kentucky. This is my 3rd year as a Diocese teacher and my first year at IHM. I received a Bachelor of Arts in Geology, Biology, and Education from Hanover College, and earned Master’s Degrees from LSU and NKU in Education Leadership and Supervision. I’m very creative and have written and taught elective courses in Marine Bio and Horticulture and I’ve written crime scenes for Forensics.
I’m in my third term on Villa Hills City Council and am in charge of events. I’m also a member of the Safety Committee. I have two sons; William is 28 and works for a Congresswoman in Washington DC,
Lance is 26 and works for a logistics company in Tampa. I haves two cats, a bearded dragon, and fish. I love to travel, go scuba diving, and I collect rocks, minerals, and shells. I love teaching science and bring
many hands-on experiences to my students. If I’m having fun, my students will too!
