Hello and welcome to my teacher page! I am starting my 14th year as a teacher here at IHM and once again God has sent my journey in a new and unexpected direction. This year (2023-2024) I will be teaching in Middle School! This is a big, but exciting change for me. The best news is that I will be teaching my two favorite subjects, religion and math! I am looking forward to all the learning, growing, and opportunities that God will provide for me to work towards holiness! God is good, all the time! All the time, God is good!
While this new adventure is not something I was expecting in my teaching career, I am grateful and especially blessed to continue my career here at Immaculate Heart of Mary. I am a lifelong member of IHM and I love to be able to continue my family’s tenure here as IHM parishioners. My grandparents have been members of the parish since its founding in 1954. It was here at IHM that I was baptized, received my 1st Communion, was confirmed as well as married. I am also a graduate of IHM!
I am proud of the fact that I am not only professionally invested in Immaculate Heart of Mary; I am personally invested as well. I am a lifelong resident of Boone County; I attended Conner High School and eventually went on to graduate with a Bachelor’s in Education from Northern Kentucky University and my Master's degree through Xavier University. My husband Tim and I have three wonderful daughters; Maria, Noelle and Faith, and all three of them are or were students here at IHM.
Teaching is not just my job, but my vocation. I love being in the classroom and interacting daily with young fresh minds! Children have so much to offer the world! The rewards of seeing students succeed, learn and grow are what make this job the best job in the world!
