Welcome to Immaculate Heart of Mary School! My name is Elaine Wagner and I have been teaching for 22 years. I spent my first year teaching 3rd grade. I then went on to teach 4th grade for 17 years and during that time I also taught 5th grade for 4 years. I also taught 7th grade Language Arts for 2 year. This will be my 3rd year as an Interventionist at IHM.
I am a proud graduate of St. Henry High School. After high school I went on to receive my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from NKU, and in 2007, I earned my Master’s Degree in Reading and Writing K-12 also from NKU. Each year it is my goal to challenge each student and help them grow into a successful and independent learner. In my free time I enjoy traveling, reading, and spending time with my family and friends. My husband’s name is Tony and we have 3 children. Our oldest daughter, Arlyn (22), is in nursing school at EKU. We also have a 20 year old son named Blake, who is in his 3rd year at NKU. Our youngest daughter, Reece (15), will be a sophomore at NDA.
I am looking forward to a very busy and fun school year!! Please don’t ever hesitate to email me with any comments, questions, or concerns.
