Hello, and welcome to Immaculate Heart of Mary School! I am product of the Diocese of Covington, myself, having attended St. Paul School and graduating from Villa Madonna Academy. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from the University of Kentucky. I taught 3rd grade, 7th grade ELA and was a Reading Interventionist (all at IHM) during which I earned a Master of Arts in Education with an emphasis in Reading and Writing, grades K-12. I am certified in the Orton-Gillingham method for teaching Reading. I was the IHM Assistant Principal for 6 years before being named principal. I am going into my 26th year of serving IHM School and am currently working toward my Rank 1 in Education with an emphasis on Curriculum.
I have been married to William for 23 years and our three children have all attended IHM. Our son, Will, an IHM and Covington Catholic School graduate, attends the University of Kentucky and studies finance/accounting. Caroline, also an IHM graduate and a rising senior at Notre Dame Academy is an avid soccer player and our youngest, Margo, a rising 8th grader at IHM, also likes soccer and being with her friends. We have a 5 year old chocolate labradoodle named Francie. We love to watch University of Kentucky sports!
