Dear IHM Parish and School, I am so excited and enthusiastic for our upcoming 2021-2022 school year! This past school year was anything but routine, but I am very proud to say our students, parents and staff rose to the occasion! We look forward to what this school year can hold for us all: spiritual and academic growth at all levels! My love for our IHM community is a deep motivation for me; I want to share my love for my faith, my education expertise and my dedication to IHM with all! I am embarking on my twenty-fifth year serving IHM school! My own three children have attended IHM: Will (2017 IHM grad, 2021 Covington Catholic grad, off to UK this fall), Caroline (2020 IHM grad, sophomore at Notre Dame Academy) and Margo (incoming 6th grader at IHM). My husband, William, and I have been married for twenty one years. My goals as assistant principal include supporting Mrs. Guard and Msgr. Dominic, making decisions that positively impact all IHM students and holding our students accountable with high expectations. Learning starts with a developed love for learning in a climate of trust and respect; you will find that at IHM! With your help as parents and parishioners, we will partner to walk our IHM students successfully through their faith and academic journeys here. I absolutely believe in partnering with parents to achieve student success! Please feel free to call/email if I can help your child or family in any way. We have spent many hours this summer planning for a wonderful and hopefully, more normal school year and we can’t wait to see all of our students back in August! (If you are reading this and considering IHM for your child, please contact me for a tour or for information about IHM School.) Thank you for your support!
All the Best, Kristin L. Harper
