Mr. Song Hun Nam

Welcome to my music class! Hi, my name is Song Hun Nam. I am so excited about teaching music at IHM School! I graduated from University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music with Bachelor and Master of Music degrees. I have been a music teacher at various local schools in the greater Cincinnati area for over 25 years working with students ages 4 and up.  I was a faculty member of Northern Kentucky University for 14 years teaching both at the University and Music Preparatory program.

I love working with young children! I believe in teachers as role models for all students. I find great joy seeing young students enjoying and developing their musical skills and love. We can’t stress enough the benefits of music for all areas of child development and school readiness. More importantly, music is the language of the soul!

I’ve been Director of Music Ministry at the IHM parish for the past 9 years, and I look forward to seeing many familiar and new faces in my classroom!
