Welcome to the third grade!  My name is Meredith van Zyl, and this is my 21st year of teaching.  My husband and I live in Burlington with  four cats, and a dog.  Growing up in Boone County I attended St. Paul, Villa Madonna, and graduated from Notre Dame Academy.  I have a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, and a Master’s Degree in Special Education.
Becoming a teacher has always been my life-long dream, and my heart feels fulfilled being able to teach in a faith-based environment.  My goal is to provide my students with a solid education in an environment that promotes our Catholic values, while creating independent thinkers of tomorrow.
