I have worked in the education field for the past 8 years, in various teaching positions, from subbing to pre-K3 to Algebra. Prior to this, I was a chemical engineer for 11 years, first in the semiconductor industry then in the food industry. After having children and teaching pre-K, I realized my passion was educating and inspiring the next generation.
I received my Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering from The Ohio State University. I received my teaching certification from Western Governors University. I am certified in General Education EC-6, ESL, SPED, and Math 4-8.
My three beautiful teens (Mackenzie, Meghan, and Max) and I recently relocated (this summer) from North Texas to be closer to family.
I am looking forward to a productive and successful school year.
