Hello and welcome to 5th grade Math and Science! My name is Carrie Shafer and I am privileged to be part of the IHM staff this year. My husband and I have lived in Hebron since 2006. We have three grown children and one fantastic grandson! After I earned my B.S. in Elementary Education, I taught in both private and public schools. My most recent experience has been in Boone county. Now, I am looking forward to getting to know the students at this wonderful school. From my earliest memories, I have always wanted to teach. Many favorite teachers, over the years, have inspired me to make a difference in
children’s lives, just like they did in my life.

I love the atmosphere here at IHM and can’t wait to join the other teachers in creating a learning environment where all students can thrive, learn and grow to be more like our Savior.
