Liturgical Year & Calendar

The calendar that guides the liturgies and prayers of the Church is called the Liturgical Year.

This cycle of time begins on the First Sunday of Advent, and ends with the celebration of Christ the King.  It includes Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter, and Ordinary Time (meaning "counting").
