Hello and thanks for stopping by!
I’m Ann Williams, IHM’s school counselor.
My husband and I have lived in this area for over 17 years, and we have two daughters, one attending St. Henry District High School and the other attending the University of Kentucky--both graduates of IHM School. I enjoy gardening, boating, hiking, and raising Monarch butterflies in my free time. Over the years, I’ve worked in a variety of counseling settings.
I’m here to support and encourage the emotional development of our students in both their education and their Catholic faith. The health and well-being of our students is of the utmost importance to me, and my goal is to work collaboratively with the child, parents, teachers and administration to help the child become happy, faith-filled, and attain academic success. I’m available to help students with any life challenges they might be facing, either personal or school related. I assist students individually, in small groups, or through lessons in the classroom setting. Examples of the things I can help students with include:
Students can be referred to me by parents, teachers, or administration. Students may also request to meet with me on their own.
Please note that my ability to schedule frequent meetings with your child can sometimes be limited when I have large numbers of students needing services. If I believe your child needs services beyond what I can provide, I’ll be happy to help you find outside resources.
Please feel free to contact me with any concerns you may be having with your child.
